One Down . . .

We were feeling accomplished yesterday, we woke up to one rat in the “humane” trap, which meant that Lee and the boys needed to take care of finishing him off. Isaac was happy to show him off for the camera. Literally, a drowned rat . . . .

On a very different note, Lee met a young man when he was out with a team several months ago who had created an incredible helicopter toy with some recyclables that he found (the propellers even spin when the motor is connected to a battery). This week, one of our translators went out to find that young man because someone from the sister church in the States wants to sponsor him since he wasn’t able to afford school. Lee told the translator before he set out to find him, to ask the young man if he would be willing to make Lee a helicopter and sell it to him. Following is a picture of Lee, his little friend, and the new helicopter that he brought home from a visit with him yesterday.
